                                                          SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVALS

Good weather is coming, and with it the expected music festivals around the world. Seeing the last days has been in California (USA) the famous Coachella festival, we are encouraged to write a post about the most famous festivals of this summer and the artists who plays in them. There are a variety. We think the festivals are a great platform to listen artists in great live and outdoors concerts for several days, also a good way to discover young artists not very known. We usually go to see the headliners who usually plays in the evening hours, but you just have to take a walk around the stage in the early hours to discover new groups who maybe are going to become a headliners.
We leave you a selection of the most famous festivals and some artists that we are going to see in them this summer.


Está llegando el buen tiempo, y con ello los ansiados festivales de música por todo el mundo. Viendo que estos últimos días se ha celebrado en California (USA) el famoso festival de Coachella, nos hemos animado a escribir un post sobre los festivales mas famosos de este año y los artistas que actúan en ellos. Hay una gran variedad. Creemos que a parte de ser una gran plataforma para poder escuchar a grandes artistas en directo y al aire libre durante varios días, pensamos que también es una buena forma de que pequeños artístas sean mas conocidos. Normalmente vamos a ver a los cabezas de cartel, cuyas actuaciones suelen ser en horarios de noche, pero solo hay que dar un paseo por los escenarios en horas tempranas para descubrir grupos que probablemente lleguen alguna vez a ser cabezas de cartel.
Os dejamos una seleccion de los festivales mas famosos y algunos de los artístas que podemos ver en ellos.

IMAGINE DRAGONS / BASTILLE

IMAGINE DRAGONS. Just listen to the beautiful name of this band (the meaning of this anagram is only known for band's members), we know that they expect big wins. Since the band started until the publication of their first and for now unique album, four years are passed . And we have many questions about them because there are not a lot of information yet. They are four, and they come from Las Vegas. With their first single “It's time”, they successed and their few songs are part of the latest Hollywood movies. Imagine Dragons are gradually making a name in the music style indie-rock. On our website you will find the instrumental version of the song It's time.
BASTILLE. Another beautiful name, of course, dedicated to the Bastille Day (the Storming of the Bastille in Paris the 14^th July) , which is also the day the singer, Dan Smith, was born. Formed in 2010, this English band began to publish their EP on internet platforms as Myspace and Youtube, and are making a name until the release of their debut album, published just few months ago. In this album you can find the songs that have been published in the last two years like Flaws, Laura Palmer and Pompei. As Imagine Dragons, Bastille play on the greatest music festivals, making them more famous, particularly in the UK. On our website you can find the instrumental version of the amazing song Flaws.

And with that, we don't want make a comparison between both, we love the two groups, we'd just wanted to talk a little more about these two bands with great expectations.

What is your opinion about them?

IMAGINE DRAGONS. Sólo con escuchar el hermoso nombre de este grupo (solo el significado de este anagrama es conocido por los miembros de la banda), sabemos que les esperan grandes triunfos. Desde el comienzo de la banda hasta la publicación de su primer y por ahora único álbum, pasaron 4 años. Y muchas preguntas que nos hacemos sobre ellos ya que no hay mucha información todavía. Son 4 los miembros, originarios de Las Vegas, y con su primer EP It's time, triunfaron. Sus pocas canciones están formando parte de las últimas películas de Hollywood, van a actuar en numerosos festivales de música... Poco a poco se están haciendo un nombre dentro del panoráma musical indie-rock. En nuestra página web podeis encontrar la versión instrumental de la cancion It's time.
BASTILLE. Otro hermoso nombre, como no, dedicado al día de la toma de la bastilla, que es también el día que nace el cantante, Dan Smith. Formada en 2010, esta banda inglesa comienza a publicar sus singles en plataformas de internet como Myspace y Youtube, y va forjándose un nombre hasta la publicación de su álbum debut, hace solo un par de meses. En este álbum se pueden encontrar los singles que han ido publicado en estos dos años como Flaws, Laura Palmer y Pompei. Al igual que Imagine Dragons, Bastille se centra en actuar en los grandes festivales, y eso les ha hecho que sean mas conocidos, sobre todo en el Reino Unido. En nuestra web podreis encontrar la versión instrumental de la gran cancion Flaws.

Y dicho esto, no queremos comprarlos, a nosotros nos gustan los dos grupos, solo queríamos hablar un poco mas de estas dos bandas que no dudamos que triunfarán.  Apostamos por ellos por su capacidad para componer canciones diferentes, cosa que es bastante dificil en este mundo donde ya está casi todo descubierto.
